Dalhousie:
Dalhousie, a wonderful summer destination located around 5 hills on the Dhauladhar mountain at an altitude of 6000-9000 ft above the sea level in Himachal Pradesh. This hill resort was established by the British colonial rulers of India and named after the Viceroy Lord Dalhousie. Shimla:
Shimla is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, located in the north-west Himalayas, at an altitude of 2,130 m. It was declared as the summer capital of India during British raj in 1864. Due to which the architectural style of most of th old buildings exhibits the reminiscent of the colonial era. The main attarction of this hill sation are Rohru, known as the place of god, Hatkoti temple dedicated to goddess Durga, Christ church, The Mall, main shopping hub of Shimla, Shimla State Museum and the Sankat Mochan Temple.
Manali Trip:
Situated at distance of 32 km from the Kullu valley to the north, this Himalayan jewel has many breathtaking tourists places to charm the visitors. A significant story from mythology is related to Manali. Manali derives its name from the sage Manu. There is a temple which is also dedicated to Manu which is known as Manu Maharishi temple. Nainital:
Nainital famous as a "lake district" of India is a wonderful hill station situated at an altitude of 1,938 m above sea level in Uttarakhand . It was discovered by Lord Baron in 1841. During British era, Nainital was the capital of the United province. Earlier Nainital has sixty tranquil lakes among which Naini lake is the most popular one. The famous attractions of Nainital are Naina devi temple, Church of St. John, Gurney House, and some snow-laden mountain peaks.
Mussoorie:
Mussoorie is a small hill station, situated in the foothills of Himalayas at a distance of 34 km from Dehradun in Uttarakhand. Moussoorie was explored by Captain Young, a British military officer in 1825. Some of the major vacation attraction of Mussoorie are Kempty fall, St. Marry Church, the oldest church in Himalayas, Gun Hill, Company Garden, Lal Tibba, Camel back road and the largest skating rink of India.
