Some of my best gardens and parks in Cork are:Fota Wildlife Park
This is one of the wonderful parks for your day out with your friends and family. It could be great excitement for children as there are many different things to see. There are 90 different species of wild animals. You can easily watch number of wild animals in this park. You will find a big playground in the middle of this park. Fota Wildlife Park is specially design for the children and its entry is fee. A coffee shop is located near this park for the convenience of tourists. Timing of this park is 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Saturday and 11am to 6 pm on Sunday.
Millstreet Country Park
Millstreet Country Park is located in the center of the city. There are number of different things, which can be enjoyed such as a deer farm, musical themes, and numbers of different species of flowers. This garden is consisting of musical performance and that is why several parties are organized in this beautiful garden. One of the major advantages of this park is its extraordinary peaceful environment. Many people come to enjoy the morning walk in this park. Beauty of this park enhance in spring season.
Doneraile Park
This is of the biggest park in the city. It covers 166 hectares of area. Doneraile Park is filled with deer herds and trees. There are various facilities such that good accommodation, fountains, musical themes etc which invites large number of visitors. You can see many people"s enjoying morning walk in the garden.
Fota Arboretum Gardens
Fota Arboretum garden cover about 11 hectares of area. One of the major attractions of this garden is its attractive ornamental pond.
