Oxford Street also has a Mothercare shop, The Perfume Shop and the Disney Store. These shops are considered average priced. Primark has very attractive prices, probably the lowest in Oxford Street, where clothes cost just a few pounds. No wonder the store is always stuffed with people.If you love antiques, Portobello Market is ideal to get it original and cheaper than in regular antique shops in Notting Hill. It is a good area to find artsy jewellery, accessories, furniture and clothes. Prices vary, but mostly they are reasonable. Camden market, a large craft and clothing place, is popular with young people. You can buy original clothes and accessories there quite cheaply as well as at Spitalfields Market.
It is a good idea to stay at a central London hotel as from there it is an easy access to the main London shopping places. Paddington area is ideal for Oxford Street shopping, Kensington is best for High Street and Knightsbridge shops. Notting Hill is walking distance from the Hyde Park hotels and both Camden Market and Spitalfields Market can be easily reached from the Paddington area.
